No Tanka made it to the top three winners but thirteen fine examples were selected for the runners-up in the Autumn Award. I would like to heartily congratulate the winners and the runners-up, and thank everyone who supported this second collaboration of Haiku & Tanka. In my opinion, the Award has again produced strong original work with its resonance in writing from a place of truth with a zen approach.
Both the still 4 Spring & Autumn Award competitions have clearly shown that these two genres work well together creating natural harmony. I look forward to receiving your entries and to hearing more of your individual voices in the still 5 Spring Award.
